Hi! I'm Kylie, owner and photographer of KLM Photography.

 

I'm a fairly normal, mostly awkward person. I'm married to my high school sweetheart and together we share 4 dogs and two kids that I am grateful for every day, especially the days I go to bed with my sanity intact! More often than not you will find me rocking a tee shirt and messy bun, coffee in one hand, my camera in the other :)

I first discovered my interest for photography during my freshman year of high school. I was struggling to find hobbies that really made me happy and I lacked the same love and drive my family, of athletes, had for playing sports. My mom pushed me into taking "Intro to Photography", and little did she know, into a passion that has brought me more excitement and happiness than I could have ever imagined. I had no idea what I was doing, but the moment they put that old, film camera in my hand, I'm pretty sure my heart skipped a beat.

Fast forward to 2017, lots of practice and education later, I decided to turn my passion into my career and here we are!

I've experienced a lot of loss from very early in life, so I have a strong understanding of just how important it is to freeze special moments in time.
