You probably have lots of questions and I'm here to answer them all! I've compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions, but if you don't see yours below don't hesitate to reach out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I book a session?
A: Simply head to the contact form on the Session Investment page and fill in the details. I'll contact you via email to answer any questions, go over all the details and send over the booking documents. Once the nonrefundable retainer, questionnaire and signed contract are submitted I'll get your booking finalized on my calendar and we start planning!
Q: How long will it take to get my photos?
A: All session galleries will be delivered within 2 weeks of the session date. All wedding clients will received a sneak peek of approx. 25 images within 72 hours of the event and the full gallery delivered within 8 weeks of the event.
Q: What happens if you get sick or injured and can’t photograph me?
A: If I am unable to photograph you for any reason you will be made aware and a trusted, associate photographer will be there in my place. I will still edit and deliver all images within our timeline.
Q: Do I get the copyright to my photos?
A: I do not release copyright without substantial commercial fees, HOWEVER all images come with full print rights meaning you can print your images where you please, but you cannot alter, sell or distribute for profit without consent from and credit to KLM Photography.
Q: What if I need to reschedule?
A: Don't stress, I fully understand life happens. I always appreciate as much notice as possible, but I'm happy to work with you and get your session rescheduled. If the need to reschedule becomes reoccurring, there will be a rescheduling fee of $50 before the new date will be reserved.
Q: How many photos will I get?
A: That's dependent on the session you choose; Please head over to the Session Investment page to see session options, inclusions and pricing. I will always over deliver though (I have an issue with taking too many photos) and you can purchase additional digital images if you can't pick just the amount included in your session.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: I do offer payment plans and I'm happy to work with anyone, however all payments must be completed before the session. If your payment plan is for additional images, prints and/or albums all payments must be completed before images/prints are delivered.
Q: Do you retouch all the images?
A: Yes, I correct color and do light blemish touchups on all images.
Q: We don't need an engagement session, can we get a discount on our wedding package?
A: Engagement sessions offered with wedding booking are completely complimentary and hold no monetary value to the wedding collection. I encourage using the engagement session as it's a great way for us to get to know each other a little better, for you to feel more comfortable with me and come on, who doesn't love free photos?? If you don't wish to use the complimentary session that's completely ok, but no discount will be given.
Q: Do you give out RAW files?
A: I do not provide RAW files; specific software is required to view RAW files that most people likely won't have anyway, but it's also not a true representation of my art and is an unfinished product.
Q: Do you provide video services?
A: At this time I do not offer video services, but I know some AMAZING videographers that I can recommend! I hope to add this to my wedding services soon and when I do, y'all will be the first to know.
Q: Do you have any location ideas?
A: I have spent hours upon hours scouting out locations all over the valley and beyond! I'll provide a list of options (based upon your needs and vision) 2-3 days before the session so that you know I'm providing locations that are beautiful at that time with no surprises.
Q: I / We have never had a photoshoot before, what do we do?
A: Relax! I'm here to help every step of the way. After reserving your date you'll receive preparation tips and a style guide to assist with wardrobe. You can send me photos of wardrobe if you have any doubts and contact me for any questions that pop up. We'll choose the perfect location, if you don't already have somewhere in mind, and then you just need to show up ready to have a good time! I'll guide you through the session process with "posing" tips to keeps things flattering, prompting to encourage natural interaction and emotions, and of course some "gameplay" to keep it light and keep everyone having fun. I'll probably throw out a few dad jokes along the way too, just chuckle and don't judge me too hard!
Q: Do you have a studio?
A: I don't own a studio, but I have a few great options of rental spaces that can be utilized for an additional fee that goes to the space being rented.

Best family photo shoot we’ve ever had! It was so fun shooting with Kylie, she was so fun that our 4 year old and 2 year old actually posed and smiled for pictures! (Miracle). She also didn’t mind how silly we were. She makes everyone feel comfortable that even my HUSBAND (hates taking pictures) walked away saying he actually had fun! Oh!
